Speculation Name 10.4

I think that they will continue with the cat theme. My first thought was, Leopard. The spots look would be great, it would be a return to our beloved Jaguar look! What do you think?

Well, asuming they stick with their big cats theme, I'm predicting "Cougar" for 10.4...maybe "Bobcat" for 10,5 with accompanying Bobcat Goldthwait voiceovers for alert sounds :p

i definitely don't think the wine names would go down well. merlot is nice, though. lot's of cool names in wine--chardonnay, zinfandel, yeah... personally i think it might be neat to start codenames after like prizewinning horses, after they use up the fast cats theme. i mean, you reamm can't top jaguar for cats. cheetahs may be faster, but they really aren't nearly as cool. the Jaguar is really just there for style. panther's maybe a close second. i don't know where you can go from there, but i really don't think lion and tiger should go next. i mean, if they did that, then 10.6 would have to be a bear.

you know, i was just thinking, the best one for 10.4 would be "pronghorn." set to release just before longhorn.... heh ;)

I thought they switched from the wine names to the cat names. Are they running a dual system, wines and cats? If so, we need to find a cat name which starts with an M.

Personally, I like lion or tiger, because they have been sort of ascending in size, but leopard would be good.
