I have a brand new ipod nano 2gb (2nd gen) silver for sale. It is still sealed and includes all the stuff you'd get from a new one. It's NOT engraved (i'm pretty sure).

New ones go for $149+tax at the applestore. How's about $130 shipped? Or shoot me an offer. Thanks!

Have references if needed. Will take pictures if you really want them. Cheers.

You could drop the price probably. Refurbed 2GB Nano's are $109 (shipping rounds out to $115).

Thanks. This is brand new, not refurbed. :) You get the full warranty whenever you register it anyways. But i'll take offers other than the $130 i am asking for. :) I'm pretty reasonable.

mmmmm. Not really. It usually is from the date of purchase...if you got it from an Apple store that is. Not sure about other retailers, but I know that the warranty starts on the date of purchase.

FWIW, brand new or refurb, the warranty is the same, and it's still eligible for AppleCare, too (as a refurb.) The only difference is the packaging, or lack thereof.

No shipping over $USD 50 from the Apple Store, so the shipping cost is moot.

exactly. you buy something from the refurb store and you dont get the regular packaging. i'm sure that accounts for some of the $$. and $109 is w/o tax (unless you stay in some states which dont have sales tax). 120$ for a brand new NON-refurbed is cheap if not reasonable.

and to the guy who posted a $10 offer, thanks. for $10 i'd rather give my ipod to my pet fish.

Just remember, Apple doesn't cover water damage.

(you know, that's just crazy enough to be a device... iPod speakers for the fish tank or swimming pool... )
