No Applecare, but it is still within its first year of free warranty.

This is a Feeler only, but for the right price someone can convince me otherwise. PM with offers, otherwise just let me know what you think I can get for it.

Why are you selling?

Basically I bit more than I can chew. I still owe on the Mac Pro, and I went and bought a Macbook and the Macbook seems to be all I really need.

since this is a feeler, how do you guys feel about the price? is this a good price with all the options?

It isn't bad. The 24" Dell can be had right now for about $600. Knock that off and that brings the Mac Pro down to $2800. Nearly $1000 under Apple retail w/o tax.

It really depends on the discounts available to you. If you have ADC you can get a Mac Pro base at 2k. With the x1900XT you are looking at about $2200. You could add 2 500GB drivers and another 1GB for $300.

Bringing you to $2500 w/o tax. So overall I would say it is a good deal if you have no discounts availavle.

Important questions from me as someone who is interested:
1. Is all the RAM direct from Apple?
2. Will you dump some of the drives to drop the price? I would be fine with one 500GB and adding later.
3. What revision is the Dell and how old?
4. Would you entertain taking in a Dell 2007WFP that is about 2 months old since I would be taking in a 24"?

I am pretty interested if some of these things could be done. Let me know.

Overall I can say I am interested.

1) Yes it is.

2) No, it's all or nothing. I don't want to have to try and sell individually.

3) A02, and yes the warranty is still in effect, but I can't remember how to find out till when. I bought it online, and I believe it had been used for 2-3 months.

4) I believe I just might be interested. I would still like something for the Xbox 360 to be played on, so this might work out. We would have to discuss this further. PM me.

Anyone else with any other questions? ;)

Price has changed de to the OWC Mercury being added. I wouldn't be able to use this with my Macbook, unless someone knows how I could do it, so I am including with the whole setup.

Anyone else care to chime in on what I could get for my Mac Pro with the 24" Dell? Please don't factor in everything else. I only wish to get an answer on these two items.

Thanks!

Alright now I am seriously about selling everything. Everything for $3400 firm, and no trades.

I will take offers for this machine as well, but shipping is on you, so remember to factor that into your offer. I would definitely take priority over a local buyer over one that requires shipping, and would consider discounting the amount, but we all have to be reasonable, as I do not intend to just give this away.

Okay, I will price everything, since everyone is so intent on buying everything in pieces, instead of the system as a whole.

Prices do not include shipping:

Mac Pro $2600
24" 2407WFP Dell $515
Logitech Speakers $300
OWC Mercury External (If the system is parted I do not intend on selling this.)

I will consider this offer if nothing better comes around, or if some of my other offers fall through first.

24" Dell - PENDING cr2sh
Logitech Speakers - $300 OBO

Update on status...again.

Everything is still up for sale. cr2sh decided to postpone the purchase pending WWDC, which is understandable.

I would consider selling only the Mac Pro & 24" Dell together for $3100 + shipping.

Here sure is (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=3727933#post3727933)... but it's not a harddrive, its an enclosure.

Oh by the way, greatest post EVER.

What did she go for?

The Mac Pro alone went for $2500. I couldn't understand, besides WWDC, why not that many people made offers, but either way it is gone now. It was sold locally, so that was even better. :D

Good for you.. I'm glad it worked out. Most of the people around here live and die by this Apple-drama... the fact that they're here shows that they're probably not going to buy one computer the week before something 'better' might be released.

I'm crossing my fingers, hoping for blu-ray and octos... but I think I'm just going to look like an idiot. :)
