This MacBook has been used in a smoke-free environment. It has no visible scratching.

The warranty on the MacBook will run out this week. I can sell it either with or without the warranty depending on the buyer's preference. The buyer pays for the warranty.

I have positive feedback at multiple forums, eBay, and Audiogon.

I can provide high-resolution pictures upon request.

The memory is from Data Memory systems and carries their lifetime warranty. I will provide a copy of the receipt.

Price-wise, I will consider anything reasonable. No trades please.

Edit: To answer questions I have received:

60GB original hard drive. Combo drive. GMA 950 graphics. The computer has never been serviced.

$750 plus shipping. Shipping should be around $20.

I am sorry, but this is too low for me to consider.

You're right. I don't want to set a price because that tends to drive people away, but I also don't want this to be an auction. I just looked around on the forums and hoped I'd get a similar prices.

For a base model Core Duo MacBook - after the latest revisions, I'd put the value at around $700 shipped.

I mean, my local Best Buy is clearing out the Core 2 Duo MacBook base at $999 Canadian.

Are you offering that?

$750 is fine. For christs sake, some people still try to get that much for iBooks. Stick to your guns. You can get $750 on eBay easily.

Yea, but the whole point of avoiding ebay... is well... avoiding ebay. Too many problems possible with ebay:

1. Non-paying winning bidder
2. Over bidding by people not willing to pay in the first place
3. Ebay fees

I'm sure there's more... I just can't think of them all.

Well, my mother decided to keep the laptop after all. Thanks for your offers folks. I'll probably have my MacBook up in a week or two for the same price.
