I just redesigned my .mac site:

I would love to know what you think.

I am a Student Graphic Designer so I just use my .mac site to try out new things.

hmmm, it's not horid but there are definitely elements I don't like. Personally I don't think the fade works very well; you don't need to list your url on your webpage, people are already there; and you should not have to explain how to manuever around your website, it's already self-explanitory. Good luck with.

Yeah the fade up top seems kinda weird.

Side bar is good.

Oh yeah I don't like the grey, but that is just me...

I would also like to see some use of color. Grey is a very dull uninteresting color.

I like it because it is a little bit different than so many of the overly busy and colorful sites out there. It is very clear and easy to read and does not have a lot of extraneous and annoying clutter. The fading could be a little bit more subtle though as it is sort of hard to read.

I think it is very good, I like the colour scheme. The layout is also very professional. Although as others have said, there could be a problem with the fading, since some people may not be able to easily read all the text in it. I did web dev at Uni and had to make comprimises all the time between style and function.

One suggest, you could make the browser open links in a new window.

Very nice, you need to make the rollover images pre-load though, when you hover over a button for the first time there is quite a delay before the image loads.

Well I have upload some new buttons that don't fade now.

The buttons should pre-load but I might have to look further into that.

Thank you for the feedback.
