Mac Arcade Shooters

Hey I have a request for you guys, would you know where I could find arcade shooters (not Doom, or Quake I mean like old style shooters like R-type, Raiden, etc.) Any help would be great!!

Go to www.emulation.net and look for MacMame - a multi arcade machine emulator.

Brilliant reproductions of the old coin-ops, because they use the ORIGINAL ROM IMAGES...

As these are still protected under copyright law, the only places you will find them are on Carracho or Hotline servers (although there ARE a few webpages with SOME images available).

However - you can download these files legally, as long as you remove them from your hard drive after 24 hours to avoid prosecution...

but I'd like some arcade shooters as well. not MAME, like, some original ones .

If you like those classic shooters, you might want to check out Deimos Rising (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/dr/), which plays like the old games, but it's also Mac OS X native, so it looks and plays great.
