... you have to have noticed the increased amount of testimonial<sp?> ads and ads/promo's using an "infinite white" background that have cropped up sense the switch ads first aired. At least in the US I've noticed a lot of "switch influenced" ads on TV.

Just a casual observation.

yeah, seriously! i saw an ad for some damn camera with Val kilmer, and I swore it was an apple ad up until the point when he starts talking about the camera. it was a total rip-off.

i've seen many ads with all white backgrounds i keep thinking they're apple ads :p

the switcher campaign is everything you could ask for from an ad--for the advertiser: it's cheap, it's simple, and it's easy to get your point across.

and it's great to make fun of.
