Hey, just need the cash at this point, so up goes my practically new Canon XTi. Bought it only a couple months ago, but just don't use it anywhere near enough, so it's just been sitting around. Includes the original box and packaging.
Quick Specs:
- Black Canon XTi
- Includes 18-55 kit lens
- UV filter to protect the glass
- 2GB Sandisk Ultra II Card
Whole kit cost me $820 back in March. Looking for $640 shipped. Just want a quick sale, so shoot me offers via PM if you don't think my price is fair.

I would rather not part out unless I found a buyer for each part. Otherwise, I'll be keeping it and a lens without a body doesn't do me much good. :p
I'll shoot you a PM if that changes, though.

Unfortunately not as it's my only camera. MovieCutter is right though - they all basically look the same.. this is practically new, so there's really nothing special to show about it. :o
Shoot me a PM if you're still interested though.

Damn! If I didn't have a fairly new Xt myself, and need the $600 or so for another, um, purchase at the end of the month...
$700 is fair, and $650 is a screamin' deal for the kit. Best of luck to you!

when you've sold something i'm guessing it didn't have pictures then? I like to see the items i am about to buy.......no harm in that. I don't buy items without pictures.

ditto. Obviously I know what the product looks like, I just like to see it first. xfiftyfour, this is an amazing deal and if I hadn't purchased a D50 not long ago I'd be all over it. Good luck with your sale!

I'll borrow a camera to take some photos so that you at least know I have it. I'll post 'em later today, and then you can let me know.
And just FYI, I have a TON of references on this board, so it shouldn't be too much of a concern..

I may be interested in this but I have one important question, I currently have a Canon film camera, the Rebel 2000. Will the lenses I have right now work with this camera? I'm pretty sure they will I just wanted to make sure.
And a second question, I also have an older Canon AE-1 (manual focus) those lenses won't work, right?

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. I imagine the Rebel lenses would definitely work, and since (I think) Canon has maintained the same threading for many many years now, your AE-1 lenses MIGHT work as well. I tried to google it for ya, but I can't seem to find a definite answer. Maybe someone who knows more could pipe in here?

I actually found it on the Canon website, older Rebel lenses work because they have the same threading, but the AE ones wouldn't.

Any EF or EF-S mount lenses will work with this camera. :)

the older AE-1 uses FD mount lenses, the lenses from your rebel should work fine with the XTi.
Question for you kuebby:
what lenses (FD mount) do you have, and are you willing to part with any of them?

I have 3 or 4 lenses but they're not mine to sell.

Hey, I've gotten some lower offers via PM. Just wanted to let everyone know that $640 is firm - I can't go lower than that. If no one's taken it by Sunday, it's going on eBay (I'll post a link).

Still not interested in parting out, though. It'll be going up on eBay this evening, and I'll post a link.
