Been debating getting rid of this awesome dslr for a few months now. Money is running a little low and I have a D80, so I decided it's time to let it go. Purchased it back in December from Wolf Camera. Will include D50 Body, Original Box, Cd's, Manuals, Nikon Neck Strap, Body Cap, 18-55 Nikkor Lens, Lens Cap. Asking $450 plus shipping. Will post pictures later this evening.

No, it is not a refurb. I purchased it new from Wolf Camera, I even still have the receipt. :)

I could use a spare body. You're welcome to keep the lens assuming its the same type as the ones I've already got for my D80.

I PM'd you 2 weeks ago about the D50. I'm still looking for a relatively inexpensive SLR.

Do you have any idea if you still have the 1 year limited warranty on it? I was reading up on Nikon's site, and it seems that I have to have a proof of purchase and proof of purchase date to obtain the warranty service. It also says that the limited warranty is just for the original purchaser. If you still have the receipt and gave it to me, would they still honor the warranty? Also have you registered the camera, to where they know who you are based on the serial number? If not, I may be able to act like I was the one who bought it. :p

If I'm able to get whatever is left of Nikon's warranty and possibly sign up for Extended Service Coverage (http://www.nikonusa.com/esc/usa_esc.html), I would be extremely interested.

Just let me know, I may just opt for the one of those nice Sony CyberShot cameras or scrounge up some extra money for the D40.
