View Full Version : Is MacRumors faster?

My response time at MacRumors has been consistently faster every day this week. Obviously, the site was very busy just before, during, and just after WWDC, but it now feels a lot faster than before the WWDC buildup even began.

Was the server upgraded? Or am I just imagining things?

Either way, it's very pleasant.

Hardware has not been updated.

It's just the diminished traffic from WWDC I think that you are noticing.

I also think that the 2 server thing is finally working well. :)

;-) it s really fast.
but just look at the numbers of users. during and before wwdc there were like 500 or so only at the same moment.
now there are "only" 130...

More like finding out who are the hardcore members and who aren't.....its not exactly a competition - more showing your colors as a true geek :D

Things are just back to "normal" again. All of the heavy traffic from WWDC was causing things to hang a lot.

I think we're seeing a lot of the same faces again though. There were a ton of new names I'd never seen before. ;)
