View Full Version : WTT: iMac G3 + other stuff for an iBook/PowerBook

My iMac G3 needs some help, so I think I may just give up and trade for an iBook. Here's what I have :

iMac G3 Graphite 400MHz
512MB RAM
DVDROM drive
2 USB
2 FireWire
More...

I will include extra hard drives as well!

40GB
20GB
13GB - Has 10.2 installed but acts weird
3GB if you want

They all connect to the iMac, so as long as you have an enclosure or an OS X disc, you can format it to use OS X.

I will also include a Micro Innovations keyboard [bought 2 days ago] and a wireless Logitech mouse [also bought 2 days ago] . They're both brand new. I think the mouse is something like...LX7...I don't remember.

And finally, a like-new Apple Airport Express with box/original items. Should still be warrantied. I'm getting a replacement AC connector soon for it.

Now...I need an iBook or possibly a G4 PowerBook. One that can movie edit.

I'd really like one with 10.3 or 10.4 with at least :

256MB RAM
Combo drive
700MHz processor..although I'd like a GHz processor, even if it's just 1GHz.
14" screen?


I will consider all offers. And if I get any offers, and if requested, I will post pictures.

Hello, I'm interested in your ram (One stick?), 40 gb hard drive, and dvd rom drive. How much would you like for them?

Sorry, not willing to part anything out. I want to get rid of this as a whole for a laptop.

I will only sell the Airport seperate, though.

I don't wanna thread crap, but i doubt you are going to find many people who wanna trade a G4 laptop for a G3 imac, even if extras/cash are included.

By G4 I meant G4 PowerBook, as a long shot.

But as for an iBook, I meant G3.



Also, I dealt with the man I bought the iMac from, and they are sending a faster replacement motherboard and a larger hard drive, to see if it fixes the mouse problem. If that does, I will sell the old hard drive and board only. And keep the iMac :D
