Take out the sound and video card and I will give you $275 shipped. DOn't really need the RAM either... but you could leave that.

How loud is it? How many drive bays does the case have, is / are the SATA controller(s) 3gbps ("SATA-II") and how many SATA controllers does it have?

For a case with 80mm fans, it's not very loud. It has a fan controller switch on the front, but I've always left it at medium. The power supply, processor, and video card fans are rather quiet.
It has four 5.25" bays, three 3.5" bays, and five internal 3.5" bays.
Six SATA 3GB/s ports and two SATA controllers on the motherboard. Four are connected to the standard Intel ICH8 southbridge, and the other two are on the Gigabyte/Jmicron controller with RAID/AHCI/NCQ support.

It's been said 8 trillion times, but it's always amazing how much machine you can get for the price of a mini or less, damn you OS X for being so nice...

Yeah, I hadn't really settled on a price, but the price of the cheaper Mac mini is around what I'm shooting for.
$600 shipped sounds about right.

Hmmm, it is a nice setup. It could make a good home server... tempting.

Cool, remind me to belittle your threads.
It's a working, four-month-old, rarely used computer (with a copy of XP Home) shipping for less than 80% of the parts' current values. I must be out of my mind.

I think you have every right to ask for 600, because 1) the parts on newegg are highly rated, and make a fast computer thats upgradeable in the future and 2) because... its your computer. Personally, this machine would meet my needs as a light gamer and to use it as a home server, but my price range is 450 tops, MAYBE 500, incl. shipping. Let me know if you are interested in dropping your price, or good luck on the sale :)

Last bump by me. Added some pictures and set a price: $550 shipped, but willing to possibly go lower. :)

Yeah, it can come with this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000243DNA/ref=pd_cp_e_3/103-5861079-5188626?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_r=1NEJ30B8YWJZQFEFVNXK&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=250314601&pf_rd_i=B0002K6XOA) keyboard. Or a generic black Logitech media keyboard, but I'd have to polish that one up a bit.

like i said before, i would be willing to do 450 shipped, maybe 500. If you are maybe looking for some stuff instead... i have a dreamcast with a ton of games, steering wheel, controllers, etc. Or a 500 MHz iBook that needs a new logic board. or both... and cash? :) maybe i should start a FS thread...

Is that a DVD burner/player on it? If so, what speed is it?

I hear ya, and I'm definitely not ignoring you. :) I'd just really hate to let it go for under $500.

It's one of these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827106040)--16x DVD-ROM.

Nice machine.
The best place to sell something like this is probably craigslist or eBay.
Furthermore, the worse place is probably a Mac forum. ;)

I acknowledged this in my first post. Not surprisingly, eBay and craigslist are full of scammers, whereas everyone I've dealt with here is genuine. :)
