WTB: Spare Mac Pro case

A friend of mine had a bad experience with UPS.

It pretty much looks like this:

...So the side panel no longer fits on.

The short story is that they damaged the case Mac Pro during transit. My friend is now looking to buy a new case to save him from having to buy a new machine if at all possible.

Does any one have a spare they are willing to sell?

Have you spoken to the seller? Does ups assume any liability? See if anything works out on that end.

He had the item insured, yep. He's just looking for a way to make some money out of it I think ;)

Maybe ebay? I can tell you that G5 "cases" can range from $200-500 USD;

I'd hammer it out (if possible, looks like it from that pic) and pocket the difference. If it still runs fine, who cares?
