The character is to appear in a storyline called Di Another Day, which will feature in Marvel's X-Statix monthly comic, a spin-off from its X-Men series.

This is sick. Have they no respect for the memory of the former Princess of Wales? Besides, why can't she be left alone, once and for all? She's dead.

I really hope that this is some cheap prank.....

And that means that the character is going to look a lot like Princess Di......could there be a lawsuit here? It is utterly tasteless, no matter if its a spoof or not.

I think this is really funny. Yes she is dead. Yes it was tragic. But the level of grief and generaly totally over the top emotions (at least in the UK) surrounding the woman make me glad that someone is trying to show people the truth. She was just a woman. Yes a woman who devoted her life (well once whe was a Princess, so lets say a bit more than 50% of her life) to good causes. But so was Mother Therasa. She died in the same week but there was not real public grief over that.

People seem to be treating her memory like she was a super hero. They just remember the good. They do not like to be reminded that she had affairs behind her husbands back. By portraying her in this way a few people might realise that she was not as perfect as they remember.

Let the flames begin.

I'm sorry...but where would the press be without tabloid b.s.?! :rolleyes:

I don't understand why the hell some topics/people just cannot be left alone...honestly.

I think that they should just let Princess Diana rest in peace. It was a tragic death, it's very unseemly to try to make money off her memory!

This is obviously a joke. A dumb one, but a joke nonetheless. I don't believe it for a second.

A whole SLEW of websites came up when I searched, but only this one had the image:

I haven't found any other images relating to the upcoming comic yet.
