So. I woke up and the first person to say anything was my ex girlfriend love of my life. Via email. This was right after my Mac almost died from a storm surge.
This is the BETTER of the two birthday scenarios. ;)
thanks brah!

hahaha. Yes. She still floats between the two places too. I see her often. She's got a bf, but she's totally eye candy. :) If you remember the café we went to last year, followed by the bar. Yepppppper.
That cake is hilarious. you're a wonderfully sick man. *sheds tear and hugs eye*

Heh. I'm heading to band practice! That's the best birthday gift. ;)
Last night me and my boy ian did some bar hopping and Thursday is the big 80's night, so most of my peeps will be there.
you should pop in-- its at the upstage, 5 bux and 1.50 mixed drinks. Helluva deal.
And duke, I will CERTAINLY have a Delerium for you man.
Wardo: I saw you folio. Your composition skills are killer. Photo.net isn't a very, um, positive forum. Lots of mean, crotchety people there.
Try www.fredmiranda.com
awesome site. :)

Sweet.
Where is your show at? We're always looking for new stuff to do.
Our band should debut in August sometime. I have this strange feeling your probably know a bunch of the same people I know.... haha.
Pittsburgh is a small town. When/why ya leaving?

I'd put a different way, it's not really that good on the eyes, layout wise...
Are you in a Jazz band?
If you are, you are the coolest person (Along with every other Jazz person ;))

Sorta jazz. Jazz influenced. I learned and cut my teeth on jazz music from age11 onward, playing upright bass.
But this is more of a trip-hop thing. So it does have a jazzy flair at times, popping into the world/latin/salsa/bossa thing... so if you wanna consider it jazz, i'll gladly allow you to think i'm the coolest person in the world. ;)

the show is at the Gemini Theatre in Point Breeze (inside the Factory; near the east end food co-op). it's five bucks. we've also got a couple of musicians playing stuff with us (joe stile from the borderless puzzle, autumn ayers and erika cuenca) here's a place to get some more info, if you want:
animal club @ emayhem (http://www.emayhem.com/profiles/profile.php?profile=454) and our old website is here (http://mysite.verizon.net/vze4np8i/index.html) hope you can make it.
the move is to chicago in september. Pittsburgh doesn't have much of a comedy community. we know a bunch of comics and actors, and they're all really cool, but sketch is somewhere between the two, and i think there are three functioning sketch groups in the whole city. we just want to be around more people who do what we do. we'll be coming back to do shows every now and again (and i'll be back often, as i'll still be doing business in pgh), but we're shifting our focus to wicker park and chicgao in the fall. it's scary, but i can't wait!
you're from the monroeville area originally, right? if so, we just may know a lot of the same people:)

What a great present! :) Actually, just eat a hamburger for me, ok? ;)
Trebble: I'll try and rally the troops and check y'all out.
Yea. I'm from near monroeville. I know some people from out there. But mostly people from the east end of the city.
Though I know tons of people from my old band... ever hear of/go to see Manifold Splendour?

It sounds a bit like what you described.
Nah, you're not the coolest person on the world, but Jazz is my music :D
