Looking to buy a cheap iPod Mini or early generation iPod for my newly acquired iHome.

I have a used 6gb iPod Mini (blue, 2nd revision) with original box, manual, and cable. No ear buds. Great condition with a 2+ hour charge for $55 shipped

or

a 4gb iPod Nano (green, 2nd revision) with Agent 18 case, everything included sans the ear buds, for $110 shipped.

Do you need a dock connection with the iHome? 1+2 Gen's use firewire only.
