Unfortunately, I've read some reviews on Version Tracker and it's apparently riddled with bugs and the speed is significantly decreased in OS X.

How can you cripple a game that already sucks hard on the mac?

In Os 9 it was great, I ran it better on my 233 MHZ 320 Ram iMac on Os 9 then on my 800 MHZ 768 Ram iMac on Os X

I installed it!
Unlike the PC version it is less buggy. The speed is about the same, that is, if you use SOFTWARE RENDERING as I am always telling the people here.
I recommend to install it on a duplicate folder, so if you have 1.x GB on your HD available, try it. There are lots of new items and features. Can´t wait for the final version!
