I just got this Panasonic camcorder and it is the coolest thing in the world. You have probably heard of this machine, 3 CCD's and under $1000. I got it for $720 new and I couldn't be happier. 3 CCD's make so much difference I can't even beging to tell you.

i have seen the new ccd camcorders and wondered if there was an anvantage to the ccd technology

before, one had to look far and wide to get something compact yet affordable

but now the huge selection in great camcorders which are compact and of high quality is staggering

it was just a matter of time because computers and even laptops have multiplied in the affordable price ranges...sometimes a huge selection of good gear makes it really tough to decide:)
