Is there any way (freeware, shareware, etc.) to get a Windows printer to work on a Mac without the use of Virtual PC?

Could you tell us what the printer is?

This might help you, it's called powerprint

The actual powerprint site:

It's a Hewlett Packard OfficeJet G55, but it doesn't seem to be in the list of compatible printers.

If you have Mac OS X 10.2, then you can use GimpPrint which can be downloaded from Apples website in the Mac OS X downloads section. It is free and includes drivers for just about every printer ever made. It allows you to print to windows printers over a network or PC printers connected directly to your Mac.

Thanks for the info. I won't be able to test it for awhile, and we might be able to exchange it for a Mac equivelent.

Or you could go the easy route and just download the drivers from HP (http://www.hp.com). No point in making things harder than necessary. ;)
