i know this may be a long shot and im not even that up on the going price for used mini's . . . .

but i have a dual 450 g4 power mac gigabit ethernet and a blue and white rev 2 power mac g3. i also have 2 really old macs (apple II GS and apple IIe) that are in my floor waiting to be turned on, if they even turn on, they were in a guys barn and he gave them to me.

so the 2 functioning powermacs are in my closet not being used and i would like a project of setting up a little sever in the living room using a mini (airport would be helpful).

any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. i have some other stuff i could throw in also.

I am sorry to state the obvious but you are offering at max 200 worth of hardware. You really need to offer cash to offset.

Not being an ass, just being realistic. I have a mini and want both your machines but, man, be real.

Why don't you try offering a deal where tonywalker pays some cash plus trade for the mini? That way both would be happy no?

the g3 is 350 mhz, 30gb hd. dvd drive, os9
the g4 is dual 450, 40gb hd(?), no disc drive, no os b/c i sold my tiger dvd.

i sold some ram out of each of them but i have i think one 512mb stick in the g4 and 4 256mb sticks in the g3.
