G5 Commercial dureing all star game

Apple just had a 30 sec spot, dureing the all star game on fox. It is not the normal apple ad.

I just noticed they have a G5 comercial vid, on macbytes.com. I just watched the one on macbytes and it is not a normal Apple comercial finally. But it seemed like the one on FOX was the last 30 or so sec of the one on macbytes.com

hahhaa.. yeh, and vanessa carlton's rendition of the star spangle banner ruled too... the g5 commercial is kinda odd, i heard the voice and looked over... whats with that rumbling noise/waste basket noise? wouldnt it be great if the it was somebody shoving a pc off the desk and into a waste basket?

I don't think so. The version I saw was 15 seconds and had one zoom in shot and a stock market roll on the bottom of the movie. :rolleyes:

Great commercial, makes me drool for my new G5. Wonder when Apple will start showing the commercial for the G5 on regular programing. Remember fondly seeing commercials of the 12" & 17" PowerBook!

it would be really nice, if apple really starts to advertise alot in prime time, its been a while since i've seen 2 apple commercials in prime time on the same night.

like the guy who posted this thread in general discussion, I looked up at the tv when i heard the crash, and then i saw this awesome tower and display. then the tower comes into closer view and I saw the one optical drive. So like that other original poster I only caught the last few seconds of the ad including the apple.com/g5 ad. I saw it on comedy central at like 6:58 PM PST.

it would just be great to see a return to the epic-style (1984) commercials of many years ago, along with a little bit of bashing.. apple has room to gloat - i know im ithcing to see an attack on some dell pc.. revenge. :p

his has nothing to do withe the G5 ad, but, this is so cool, buy a new beetle and get a iPod. This is a big night for apple related ads i guess. Apple and VW my 2 fav companies unite, this is so cool! lol

It is such a bummer Apple doesn't have any commercials in the Netherlands anymore. How about other European countries?
