So, it turns out shes dead. Logic Board. Devastated.

Anyway, means we have some parts FS.

Anything else that is of use to anyone, let me know. I aint got rid of any of it yet. I'll stick it on ebay at the weekend and anything that doesn't sell will get fired in the bin. Try placing some cut up gift cards between the board and the plastic.

If that doesnt fix the video problem, grab a heat gun, wrap everything but the video chip in foil, and heat it up. You can find a guide online.

Do you mean tray loading drive btw?

Unless you used an aftermarket drive for a PC.

Yeah, Tray loading. Changed that.

As for the logic board, its fried. I know this as I may have had a small helping hand in its demise.
