I can't wait for a check because I leave in a few days. Anybody want to offer me near face value on the giftcard via PayPal, google checkout or an overnighted cashiers/bank drawn check?

Its a standard Apple giftcard, good everywhere.

How close are you looking to get? Im in the market for a computer and might be interested. However, I wouldn't paypal this amout without using a credit card for my protection and I know this ups the fees and stuff.

a helpful hint for both parties. if you use google checkout, they currently charge no fees (fee free for the rest of 2007), and they allow the user to use a credit card. it is a free service that both users would have to sign up for, but google is a trusted company.
