where are you located?

I think if you go on the lacie website, it's $18 for a power supply. I always see some on ebay, as well.

Is the power supply some sort of proprietary design with a seemingly random arrangement of pins, or is it the simple metal cylinder type?

Do you know what drive is in them, in terms of brand and/or RPM? I'm potentially interested also....

I'm in SoCal, specifically Pasadena or Beverly Hills.

I'm not sure what drives are in them. I'll have to open them up later tonight and take a picture or something.

I'd assume 7200rpm... not sure on the brand though..

Will you take $40 for one of them, Paypal, shipped to 32608, cheapest method of your choice (i.e. parcel post is fine)?

I'd rather do $50 shipped to wherever you are.
But if I have no takers in the next day or so, I'll let it go for $40 shipped.

both drives are the same...

Sounds very reasonable... def let me know. I'm just trying to cover figuring out what finding & buying the power supply will cost. :o But it's the perfect size for an iMac backup for me. :)

I emailed him to see if he'd sell them separately...

but hey, buy them all, sell the excess and make some $$$ :p

Actually, I saw that, and the thought had occurred to me. :D

P.S., from the picture, the drive is a WD Caviar (obviously), 160GB, 7200RPM, PATA.
