Apple computers have generally enjoyed high resale values. The 17" PB 1.67GHz is still a very capable machine depending on your needs.

I love mine i bought from here six months ago. That price is pretty close to reasonable. Maybe a little lower. But 1K is about right. I got mine cheaper because of a damage.
