I've had this for a bit and the project didn't end up going anywhere so I'm selling it. I'm waiting on an appraisal for an asking price, but I wanted to see if anyone here was interested as well. It should be available on sedo.com as well.
Any interest?

$10?
I think it will go for a little more than that - I'd at least like to recover the costs of registering the name.

Mine was only like $7...
To paraphrase:
Because three dollars is just naked profiteering? What'll I do with those extra dollars? I'll add an acre to the grounds. I'll chuck some more koi carp in my piano-shaped pond. No, I know, I'll build a wing on the National Gallery with my name on it.

So I spent some a few bucks to find out the value of the domain and it came back at $1,250-$1,770.

Who did the appraisal? Just for the record, I had 16volt.net appraised once and it came back at like $5k... but finding the person who would pay that is very unlikely.

eBay is probably a better idea, i mean doing appraisals are often times off.
remember

I'm not going to sell it at that - I was just curious how much it would be evaluated at. We'll see if I get any offers - I've also got it at www.sedo.com

I've got to say- www.photodiner.com has quite a ring to it- I like it!
I never did understand "appraisals" though. I wanted to make a site called www.bigmug.com a few years ago. It was taken so I offered the owner $100 for it (this was about 3 years ago, maybe). He turned me down, said its appraised value was like $1500. I said no chance and used www.bigmug.net instead.
Silly appraisals!

Back in the day - late 1990's I was offered $10k for my dukestreet.com domain. I should have taken it - but I would have spent the money on something stupid, no doubt.....

I'd had it as my personal site for a number of years and I'd been offered money for it before, but in a sneaky way (low ball type stuff). I thought it might be part of the same thing. And there there's this company (http://www.dukestreetcapital.com/) - check in "About Us" and you'll find this...
We are currently investing our sixth fund with some €2 billion of equity funds under management.
The interested party was from England :D And you'd be surprised how many emails I get from people trying to contact Duke Street Capital for any number of things, including confidential financial stuff. I've replied to all letting them know they have the wrong address....
