For some reason, Connecticut residents (and Rhode Island too, I think), just got the iPods for free, without having to submit a rebate.... which is nice.

Nice pics on the ebay auction, but it looks like it didn't sell for what you were hoping.

Honestly, a free $150 from a fellow MR member sounds fair. I let mine go for a little less last year on craigs list, although that was a first generation.

Actually I ended the auction because I am going out of town early tomorrow, and I won't be able to ship it until the end of the week. I'll relist it when I get back.

If it was $150 free and clear then I might consider it, but after I pay for shipping and get porked by PayPal I'm looking at maybe $130 to me, which is pretty low considering this would cost most people $210 w/ tax from the Apple store. I'd probably take $165 shipped and PayPaled for it, but I think that's as low as I would go.
