Hi, I'm getting a mac very soon and I'll have a PC to sell once I get my files transferred. I know that this isn't the best place to list a PC, but I need to figure out what it's worth and maybe I'll find a home for it in the process. This is what I've got:
Compaq Presairo:
AMD Sempron 3000+ 2.0ghz
1GB RAM
256MB nvidia geforce 5200
120GB hard drive
CD-RW/DVD-ROM optical drive
802.11g wifi card
front media card reader and audio ports
Windows Vista Ultimate (I have xp as well. xp runs better, but vista runs well too. Just not as well as tiger )
Office 2007 Enterprise
mouse and keyboard (came with the computer)

Thanks

form working in a computer shop a machine that slow(GPU mainly) you would be lucky to get 20-50 pounds for it, 100 pounds if you get someone that knows nought about computers. The old pentium about 10 pounds.

I do think it's worth pointing out that the Vista and Office 07 licenses, assuming they're transferrable, are worth more than that by themselves, are they not?

The licenses are and you would be better of selling them alone. With the computer there value drops to nothing because the buyer expects windows and office anyway or to use the own copy.

machines like that are worth around 150-200.00 you would be better of selling locally, because shipping and paypal fees are going to dent your bottom line quite a bit. try craigslist. :)

Is all the software legal and comes with the original DVD-ROM discs, boxes, and COAs?

I got it from my mom's university. You don't get boxes when buying software from the school, you just get the CD/DVD from Microsoft in a jewel case and the license information. They are both included, but they don't have the box like you would find at Best Buy.

Vista and Office. If you read the terms, it will says something about only being valid while you are enrolled, employeed or have graduated from said school.
