There is currently another iSight on the marketplace for $125. Maybe you have seen it, I don't know. You might want to lower your price a bit.

Thanks for the input.
The $125 is just an offer, not the price. The seller doesn't seem to be selling it for that amount.
$175 is a fine price for this unit. Anyone could turn around and sell this on eBay for $225 or more. The lowest asking on amazon is $290, bion. I am selling b/c I need the money in fairly short order...
If you have legitimate reason to believe that this is a bad price, your post would be reasonable. But as it is, I am cutting the price to sell this and I cannot appreciate this type of post.

I had a Clamshell similar to this a while back (blueberry) with a similar crack in the side. I wouldn't be too worried if I was a potential buyer, the crack isn't really that noticable when using the unit and these G3's run Panther well on 320MB RAM. With an Airport card you have yourself a cheap modern everyday internet machine (for under 300 bucks!)

Thanks for the good word SuperCompu2.
I can say something similar. In my high school we had mostly clamshells and they of course had the crap beaten out of them and they lasted for years! :D

Does the iBook have an airport card?
And how's the battery, Kondi? Any idea on how much of a charge it holds?

What kind of RAM does it take???

No AirPort card, and the battery seems to hold only 5 mins. charge. Sorry.
This is what LEM says about the RAM:
RAM: 64 MB of SDRAM... expandable to 576 MB (544 on 32 MB iBook) via one 1.25" 3.3V PC66 compliant SO-DIMM
I think that's just the 144-pin stuff, right?

would you be willing to trade a 20gb ipod (4th gen) for the isight? it's in good condition and has a battery that still holds a great charge.

It is my dream to own a clamshell! It is also my dream to acquire some cash :(

Mine too!
Kondspi, what exactly do you look for in trades [for the clamshell]? I have numerous things I'd offer, but I'd like to hear what you are looking for first.
LMK!

Thanks to everyone for the interest.
Right now, my financial situation is bleak. It might have something to do with the fact that I have no money and no income.
So what I'm really looking for is cash...
Usually, I am extremely open to trade offers. But right now, I'd like to know if anyone is prepared to offer money for either or both of these items. I think my prices are fairly good.
Thanks for understanding.

Just posting to inform that maccam is no longer interested in the clamshell.
So I'm still looking for buyers.
