Hey everybody!
This is the same iMac G4 I put up earlier, but now I'm really looking to move it (I had some car issues, so some extra cash would be very nice!) so heres the specs:
iMac G4 800MHz
120GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
512MB RAM (2x256MB, and I think you can go up to 2GB)
Superdrive
17" Widescreen (1440x900... It's awesome!)
It's got OS X 10.4.10 on it now, I will include a copy of tiger on DVD as well.
This Machine also runs Ubuntu AMAZINGLY! All the drivers work awesome with on the first boot and the screen is awesome with it! I can include an Ubuntu 7.04 PPC CD (That Feisty Fawn, the most current version, 7.10 "Gusty Gibbon" Will be released in October) for free, and if you'd like I can put that on there instead of OS X! You can also do a dual boot very easily as well with it, I had that set up a while ago and it worked really smoothly!
I'd like to get $400 for this (which is a good deal) plus a little towards Shipping. I live in Vermont, so if you're on the east coast shipping won't be too much, but if you're on the west coast it might be a bit more expensive (~$40 for UPS Ground with $500 insurance on it) so I'll split shipping costs with you, if you could send me your zipcode with offers, I'll give you a number for shipping and we can go from there! I would like to only deal with paypal, but I'll listen to other offers as well. for feedback you can check out my eBay feedback under the name kingcrowing (100% positive feedback)
Here are some pics (also there are some pictures of my Palm Lifedrive which is for sale but I've got a pending deal now) of the machine, and as you can see it's in quite good shape!

Please post offers here, PM me or IM me @ kingcrowing
Updated thread for licensing reasons, Office will NOT be included, a Tiger DVD WILL be included as well as an Ubuntu DVD if requested.
Deal pending, but nothing final as of yet.

Solid price on a great machine- I've always loved the "old" iMac designs. Now if I didn't already have this 24" iMac..... :)

I know! I love these guys, some of the coolest looking macs around, and the swivel arm is so fun too!
According to another user here, 1GB is the max amount of RAM for these, however I know you can get 1GB sticks that will be physically compatible, but I can't guarantee that it will work in here.

I know I'd get more on eBay, and thats my next step. They sell for up to $575 on eBay (look at the completed listings) but I'm willing to make someone a good deal if I could move it fast, I can ship it out tonight or tomorrow morning depending on when I get it sold.

I've got the same machine, still runs well with Tiger (haven't tried Ubuntu on it yet, will have to). Office, iTunes, AIM, etc. Flash drags but thats to be expected. I'm slightly tempted to get a twin ... but that'd be a little excessive.
As a FYI, the max ram that the machine will take is 1GB, 512 in the user accessible slot and 512 in the inside slot.

G3 != G4.
A 800MHz G4 is significantly faster than a 800MHz G3

Sorry, I meant 700MHZ, and I just wanted this one for sister/mom who don't really need speed so, even though I know that this is a fine computer and would be faster than the g3, the speed does not compensate for the 400 dollar price tag (amazing deal by the way)
sorry

There should be no problem with the 1GB module, provided that it is the right module. I had the same iMac G4 with 1.25GB RAM and it worked great.

Really?
Because in my forum hunting I'd read that it wouldn't work in the 800MHz, only in the 1GHz and above models (Also on Mactracker).
Which slot did you put the gig stick in? The easy one or the hard one?

Mama is very happy with her "brand new" iMac. Replacing a B/W G3 350, its a big deal.
Great sale from beginning to end.
Because kingcrowing was such a great sport about the entire sale, most importantly going the extra mile with packaging and shipping costs, I thought it best to make him something better than money:

Im shipping it out tomorrow, I hope he likes it.

That is a 10"x20" painting on stretched canvas.
Its my "hobby/business" i guess.
