So I just barely broke my macbook pro's right bracket key (by the delete key above enter). Something was stuck under it preventing me to push it, went to pull it off and snapped the clips on the bottom left corner of the key and the hinge!.. yikes!!.. Anyone have spare keys from a part unit? it's got to be transparent (so it lights up on the backlit keyboard). Are the 12" powerbook keys transparent even though it doesn't have a backlit keyboard? Thank you!

well AFTER i pulled it off, i learned that you can pull them off without a problem if you pull from a top corner, not from the bottom, the top unclips and then the bottom slides off the hinge and can be snapped back in in a breeze. I;m doing this right now on an old G3 powerbook for testing to see what I done wrong... i tried to use a hinge off my old G3 powerbook but the hinge is a bit larger on the old g3. aah, i hope someone has a hinge for a powerbook 12"/15"/17" or Macbook Pro 15"/17" keyboard key...

The keys on the 12" Powerbook are transparent. They would work on a different Powerbook.
