So I have a day 1 machine because I knew I wanted a MacBook, but now I'm transferring schools and my new school is a laptop school, meaning I currently have 2 MacBooks. Whoops.:o
So I'll be selling the Day 1 machine because, well, I don't technically own the other one.
So I'll probably sell this one and get an iPhone and save the rest. What can I expect to get for a Core Duo 1.83 with 2GB of ram. It has the combo drive.
Edit: And I forgot, but it has Apple Care for about another year, I'll check when exactly soon here.

Not sure what the going rate is, but I would be interested. I need a lower end Macbook for my daughter and I got ripped off on Ebay real bad trying to get one like yours. It was a spill damage.

From what I've seen on other threads it looks like this one would be about $750.
Let me know!

apple sells this model on their refurbished store for $799, which also comes with a year of applecare. if i had to guess, i think the most you could get for a "day 1" core duo macbook is $600.

He has the same warranty (year left on apple care), plus two gigs of ram. Considering most people have to pay tax when ordering from the apple store, making it 850/875, then 2 gigs of ram, I would say 750 to 800 is about right.
If you want a higher selling price, but fees, check ebays completed listings for a good representation of what they are selling for.

But the one from Apple has the option of purchasing 2 more years Apple Care, his doesn't. Once the year is up, it's up.
Take out 1 gig of ram and I can offer $675?

I have the two sticks of 256 I could throw in there that I got with the machine.
You'll definitely want paired ram with the MacBook.
Unless there is some reason you only want one stick of 1GB...
$675 is the best offer I've got right now, but some of the replies make me think I can get a bit more.
I'll let you know soon.

Anyone with an offer about $700? Pics coming tonight, maybe that'll bring the offers in a little better.
Also, the computer comes with the cables, remote, and original box.
