The pen is a black and gold mont blanc solitaire doue.
It comes with full papers and warranty card.
The pen for sale is exactly like the one in the picture except mine has a completely gold cap.
I am selling it for only $375 shipped. I had paid $500.
Serial numbers available upon request.

I'm looking for a mac mini, but I'm short on money, so I'm offering up a pen that I don't use as exchange.
The pen is a black and gold mont blanc solitaire doue.
It comes with full papers and has never been in regular use. I purchased this from an official mont blanc store. Its exactly like the one in the picture except mine has a solid gold cap.
Amazon sells it for $400, I obviously bought it for more but am willing to value it as equivalent to an intel mac mini.
I am also open to those willing to purchase it for $400 plus shipping.
How is it any better than a 5 dollar pen? (I'm actually curious)

well, from my experience it writes the first time, every time.
Other than that its really more a show peice than anything else. The gold used in the pen is not just coloring, but the actual precious metal.

Oh, I see. I could think of a few better places to but gold than in a pen :p

I would only buy a montblanc fountain pen. The fountain pens are fully hand crafted. The nib is made via skilled craftspeople, and is made from 18k gold.
However I have never written with one, but desperately desire to do so.
people that own them rave, indicating improved handwriting.

I wonder if old school golden keyboards will be the hot collectible in 50 years?

yes, like women with shoes, some people covet writing instruments. I am one of them and going to staples is like an addict seeing his dealer.

1. Because it's in good condition, and used as a second pen.
2. The one on amazon for $400 is the cheaper version. This one has a solid gold cap.

Okay, price dropped another $25 to $375 shipped. Save this from going on ebay.
