WTB: DVD Rom or DVD-Rom/CD-RW for ibook

Hey I was looking for a nice dvd drive or Combo drive to pop into my wife's Dual USB 500 Mhz ibook

Uh... correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't swapping the optical on an iBook almost impossible? I know it CAN be done, but it's far from a "pop in" as the poster describes, isn't it?

I didn't think it was that difficult when i read about it on xlr8's website, maybe i'll just buy a new one then BTW mce tech will install a combo drive in the ibook for ~$250 but you have to ship it to them
