OK, yet another feeler now that there's been an update...

Mac mini G4 1.42ghz
1gb RAM
80gb
SD
Airport
BT (via USB)
19" Dell UltraSharp 1905 LCD (very nice, 24-bit, 4 port USB2 hub)
120gb miniStack FW HDD w/ FW and USB hub
MS "natural" keyboard
Logitech MX500 mouse

Everything is in good shape, with the small exception that the fan on the miniStack is starting to get a bit loud when it's in high speed mode. I keep it on low speed and have no troubles with it noise wise or heat wise; I'm trying to get a replacement from the manufacture. The mini has its box, but the other stuff doesn't.

I'm figuring that it should be worth $650 with a modest shipping fee (<$20 in the US), but I could be way off?

OK, definitely gonna sell this, so I'm taking serious offers. I will be removing the external HDD as it needs a new fan that I haven't been able to locate yet (it's not a standard looking unit) and I don't want to sell anyone a bum piece of hardware. I would be happy to sell it to someone either separately or as part of the package as long as they understand its condition.

Asking $600 + actual shipping of your choice (UPS Ground should be in the $20 range for most of the country).

Also, I remembered this morning that the original restore disk was broken during a move (snapped in half). I have the iLife disk still, but only my BACKUP of 10.4. I'll do a clean install of 10.4 and iLife '05 for the buyer. Note to admins: this mini shipped with Tiger, as nearly all of them did. As such I am not including anything "illegal" or even questionable with this sale. US law specifically allows for one copy of software to be made as a back up of an original for just this reason.

Just the mini?

Just the mini?

I'd like to try and sell it together first, as I think that will be easier and, honestly, maximize what I can get for it. If I have trouble selling the set, though, I'll split it up. But, I'm going to give it some time first.

I would be willing to spend 450 shipped for everything.

Or 350 without the Monitor

Also what kind of optical drive does it have?
Superdrive?DVD-ROM/CD-RW?

It's a SuperDrive (SD) and no thanks, I can definitely get more than that, even just locally.

Sorry I missed your post Lewis!

I've got some offers locally for the LCD ($200), and the miniStack's fan is really acting up now. I took off the top of the enclosure to keep the fan from coming on at all. Still can't find a replacement for it. :( Due to it's condition, I'll likely not sell it since I don't want to have to deal with the potential trouble/bad rep from selling someone something that could fail suddenly, etc.

So, since the LCD has a couple potential buyers, anyone interesting in the mini? (Can also include keyboard and mouse if you need it) These are selling for $450 on eBay, so I think asking for $400 shipped (UPS Ground in CONUS) is pretty reasonable.

I'll also ship overseas to MR members who have confirmed PayPal addresses, been members here more than 6 months and have 100+ posts.

Would you do the 400 for the mini + the tempermental stack and my promise that I won't complain/give bad rep for the ministack? lol

Maybe, I'm still trying to track down this replacement fan - which is all it needs to be back to 100%. I'll definitely get back to you ASAP on that offer though.

500 plus shipping?

What are you offering $500 for?

Sure thing, I've got the cash in my Paypal account just sitting and waiting for something for me to buy hahaha

Had some requests for pics, so here's a few. If there's anything specific someone would like to see, please let me know.

Just to update the thread, I've got some offers on the whole system, but no agreement on price yet. I've also got offers on just the mini, but I'm trying to sell everything at one if possible. If someone would like to make an offer on just the display, though, I would certainly entertain it given the interest in the mini alone.
