Selling the Canon XL1 and hard case with BP-945 battery and charger. I'm thinking maybe around $1000.00. Anybody interested? It is in great condition and is like new. I've recently sold a MacPro and 24" Dell display to user "cr2sh" and he'll vouch for my integrity.

The camera was only used for a few weddings and other events. Not driven hard at all.

I had posted earlier that I was thinking about keeping them, but I might be ready to sell soon. So I lowered the price a little and will be posting pics soon.

Does anyone know how the color is on the XL1? Compare it to say, a Panasonic AG DVC-30?

Does it have 24p? Is it widescreen native, or letterbox? Sorry, the specs are hard to find online.

It has "Frame mode" and it seems to be very much the same as 30P on my XL2. Need to white balance a lot, it tends to lean towards red. Does not have 24p but it does shoot 16:9 or 4:3. I can email the pdf of the manual if you like.

Do you happen to know if it is native 16:9 (When the sensors are using 100% of their pixels, what aspect ratio is it?)

I was scammed by Jaisai01 two months ago for photography equipment worth $500. I've already reported him to the police and mail fraud, he somehow can log on to all these forums, myspace, etc. but cannot answer his phone or the tonnes of messages I've sent him - let alone send the items he owes me, or even the money.

4God, I suggest you re-consider dealing with this person.
