4 Mac LC III's FREE to a good home!

I've got a stack of 4 Mac LC III's that are collecting dust. I just can't bring myself to throw them out so I'll give them to anyone who wants 'em.

If you're in the DFW area, you could pick them up (I'm in the HEB area), otherwise you'll have to pay for the shipping.

If anyone's interested, post here and I'll add details (RAM, HD, etc)

I'm sorry guys - work and other stuff has kept me so busy I totally forgot about posting those specs

From memory, they're basic LC III's - I think one of them has a math-co and I have nubus ethernet cards for all of them.

All of them have at least 4 or 8 MB SIMMs in them too - I think that would bring them up to 8 - 12 MB total ram.

One had a bad hard drive, the rest are good with 60-120 MB Apple SCSI drives.

One has a bad floppy drive too.

2 quick questions: how much is shipping to the SF Bay Area, and are they the same form factor as the LC and LC II, or larger? Especially interested (in at least one) if they're larger.

I think that the LC III have the same case as the LC and the LC II...

Yes you are right. That was my first computer and it was nice and compact, though it was a lower end machine. I'll be intersted to just take one. How much for shippinf to Rhode Island?

A noteworthy fact is that these can access textbased internet with an external modem; my mom uses her LCIII for wordprocessing.
