Well we have known about it being released in OCtober for ages, even says on the apple Leopard (http://www.apple.com/macosx/leopard/) page. Or am i missing the point of this thread.

October 30, if they follow the iPhone plan of waiting till the last day of the month they promised it in. (Apple wouldn't release a new product on Halloween, so Oct 30 is the next closest)
