How much for that 256 stick of ram? Do you know if it will fit into a tray loader? If so, is it high or low profile?

If its a tray loader you're looking for sodimms not sdram. Look for scrapped ibooks/powerbooks.

If the 64mb ram is indeed PC133, I'll give you three bucks each for them, 10 bucks for the 256 chip. 12 bucks for the cdrw drive (if it works) and 20 bucks for the 500mhz board with ports attached or fifty bucks for it all. Since 500mhz iMac g3s sell whole for about 75 bucks this seems right.

Sounds good (plus shipping right?). I think all the memory is PC133, some if it might be PC100 though. Everything is working great. In fact, Ithese parts in particular are from a fully working 500mhz imac that I can't seem to be able to sell locally, and that would be too difficult to ship for me.
