Hey everybody, I have an extra Apple Remote that I am looking to sell, as I don't really think I need two. I know these really aren't worth that much, so just make me an offer and we can negotiate.

This is a dumb question, but will this work for an ipod? (if the ipod is connected to a dock)

Straight from the Apple remote link ...

"The Apple Remote requires the iPod Universal Dock (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=B9C44215&nplm=MA045G/C) and any iPod with a Dock connector."

So, I'm guessing that the docks that iPods come with will not work. You need the one with the IR receiver.
