Online petitions are not worth the paper they're written on. -tazo

-Guys
Normally I'd agree with you. However, this one is clearly outlined as to its specific purpose, and it's for a good cause: More stuff for Macs.
And less stuff for PC people to diss us with, so that we'd have to post their BS to a certain thread called "the worst question a pc user has aksed you (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26640&highlight=worst+thing+a)" ;)
You guys don't have to fill it out, but please: open mind this time.
I think you both know me well enough to know I don't usually do this sort of thing.

I bought a Garmin GPS a couple years ago and love it, but I do have to agree about the lack of Mac software.
That and the lack of Lego software....
I'm signing the thing...

Is there anyway of knowing how many have already signed? I didn't see a view signitures button. Maybe I'm just blind.

I won't accuse you of blindness - you can type.
At the base of the story, just above the data-entry fields, there is the line:
"We will forward a summary of petitioners (showing names and zip codes only, but without email addresses) to the manufacturers on a monthly basis. Currently, there are 2241 names on the petition list."
And there is your answer - we're doing good. Not bad for a few days (read the top).

Ok - I signed
Any idea how much chance this has of actually doing any good? Most of my impressions with online petitions is that they're not worth they bytes they take on a hard drive - but here's hoping. I'm game for just about anything that betters and broadens our mac experience.

Thanks for the heads up Patrick!
