WTB 250W or so Power Supply

My brother's low end WoW computer had a power supply borke on it. :(

Was wondering if anyone here had a PS that was about 250-300 W that I could buy for cheap?

Most 20 dollar power supplys are actually pretty decent.

Hell, thats all OEM builders buy, is the cheapest piece to complete the unit.

That is definetly not true. Sure for a cheap system some skimp on the power supply. But in general people go for a decent PSU with stable rails and clean power.

Well the OP was asking about a 250 watter...you can find a 750Watt Antec (Very good brand) for about $70. A 250 watter will fit in the 20$ category, just not sure it's available and if even worth it. It's better to go with a 300-400 watt.

300 to 400 watt is ok too. My brother just doesn't want to spend a bunch of money (he is poor, just 14).

i have one at home that i pulled from a gateway. I'll check the wattage on it and let you know. Either way i dont want much for it
