Congratulations mudbug!
Not to spoil this thread or anything, but I think wdlove should have been considered for a mod position if there was one available. He is always nice, reassuring, and a true help; a real asset to the site.
Not to say that mudbug won't make a fine moderator, it just seems like there are others on the website who have been more conducive to the website flow.
My 2.5 cents. Sorry..
this was more of an editor position than a mod-position.
the usual suspects will be conducting the mod dirty-work. ;)

I understand that he is doing fine work for macbytes, I just fail to see the need for gaining mod access.

he has to be able to move and edit the corresponding forum posts that accompany MacBytes.

I'm mixed on the decision... I have confidence Mudbug will do a fine job but at the same time he doesn't have a presence here....he never really posts much so its hard to really know him or what he thinks....I'm sure we'll grow to love him.
Congrats on the promo...
this thread was split into this one due to the offtopic question.
