Please advise....

I d/l'ed a couple torrent movies but when I run them through QT on my Macbook Pro, I don't get any audio...and I get a pop-up notice saying i need a plugin/codec.

ok, this is what the file looks like (movie title[2006]DvDrip.AC3[Eng]-aXXo). I'm not sure if the AC3 or aXXo is something to clue me in, but all these similar files won't play audio.

now, i have d/l'ed the following to play all my other torrents: Divx codec and xvid codec. Both assist in me running the other torrents, but for some reason, i think i still need a different codec to get the above movie(s) to play w/ audio.

here is where QT directs me to go to get the right codecs, but i'm not sure I know which one to install: here (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resources/components.html?os=OSX&ctype=61646563&csubtype=6d732000)

please assist.

thanks

Get DivX and Xvid...

Also, a heads up... I wouldn't post about stuff like that on here, post where you got the torrent.

No need to ask for help with pirated goods on MacRumors. It's against the rules.
