I am looking for a full version of Windows XP, either Home or Pro, to install under Boot Camp on my 17" iMac. This must be a full version, not an upgrade.

Where do you live? I can send you either;
my legitimate Windows XP PRofessional / Home
un-legitimate XP / Home.

I have lots of legitimate copys which were bought but hardly used, say an offer and I'll let you know.

Thanks.

I don't mind sending first, I need to get rid of some.

I have some OEM eMachines licenses for XP Home that were never used, as the original OS was deleted off of the machine after making the discs - the disc is a regular old plain vanilla XP Home disc.

Yes, SP2. I actually just dumped the disc into my hard disk, and used nLite to slipstream all the updates from SP2 to now into the disc.

Like I said, the keys were never used, as once the restore discs were made I wiped the hard disk and installed XP Professional, as I needed the extra networking features and Remote Desktop. And eMachines when they actually install the OS use one volume license key, as the key on the back and the key that came installed on the HD when I first got it didnt match, at all.

I guess its easier for them, as they probably have a machine that takes a master image and dumps it onto thousands of hard disks, then all they gotta do is slap it in, and send it down the line.

On another note, I'll never buy an eMachines again. God, their boards suck. Both boards kicked the bucket, and I had to replace both of em. -_-

Next question - how much?

As for eMachines, well, they put a lot of money in my pockets trying to support them. Nasty, horrible things, however. I can recall having three of them in for repair at one time, all of which were built within a 2 week window. The insides were different on each of them - no two components the same.

I have a Windows XP Pro boxed version that is unused. I was going to put it on an Intel Mac but I don't have one now.

It comes with the official disc in its box with some kind of document. Let me know if you are interested.

Upgrades wont fit his bill, as he wants the full version for Boot Camp.

You cant use an upgrade with Boot Camp due to not being able to eject the discs.
