The MBP is sold, thanks very much for all the offers!

--------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 17'' less than a week old MBP. It's a refurb.

Copied from the Apple description:
Refurbished MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
17-inch high-resolution widescreen display
2GB memory
160GB hard drive; 7200 rpm
8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB of GDDR3 memory
Built-in iSight Camera
With applecare.

Also included is this (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=E44B1F48&nplm=TM784ZM/A) clear Speck case. Never used, still in package.

It has no issues at all. Case has super minor (I had to really look to find them) scratches on the bottom of the unit. I can't find anything on the top or inside.

But ... I'm not loving it. I had a 12'' iBook before and I miss it. The MBP has such a gorgeous screen, but the size is too cumbersome for me to drag around. I know there is a 15'' but honestly, that is too big as well.

So I'm wondering if anyone has the latest white MB they are interested in trading (plus cash or ? *please no pc offers*). The 2.16GHz. I loathe glossy screens but I would rather not go back to PPC at this point.
Also willing to sell. Make me an offer.

Thanks!

Edited again to add: I have 100% positive feedback on ebay and will be happy to provide the link via PM. Just ask!

At this time, just looking to see if there is interest please. I have to get my husband on board before I can remove the "feeler" from the title.

I thought there was a restocking fee? Can you do exchanges with refurbs? I've been looking on the apple site, but haven't found answers yet.

Thanks Cybergypsy! I will give it a shot. That would certainly be an easier way to go. Especially if there is no 10% restocking fee right off the top.

I'll leave this thread until I hear what Apple has to say. My husband decided he doesn't care what I do in regards to the machine, so looks like I'm going forward, one way or another.

Hi,

I've got a macbook 2.0 ghz core 2 duo with 1gb ram, superdrive, and 80gb hard drive that I wanted to trade with my matching 20" ACD. It's a great setup not only because how they match but because having dual screens has been great. I was going to put it up for sale soon because I'm starting to move a lot and the screen would be an inconvenience to carry. If you're interested you're welcome to the setup and the extra cash. Please let me know. Thanks.

Looking for a white Macbook please. I would prefer to find the newest model, the 2.16GHz, but I will keep the 2GHz offers in mind. Thanks!
