Will the Optorite DVD+-RW Dual Drive Model DD0203 work in my Powermac G4?

not natively. Toast might support it, but iDVD and the finder would most likely not. Pioneer A04 & A05 and just dvd-r for native DVD burner.

And DVD movies in the drive won't play with Apple DVD player either.
