I am running leopard, installed iMovie08 but when I try to start the application it displays the following info.

QuickTime update required.
iMovie requires QuickTime version 7.2.0 or later, which can be downloaded for free from www.apple.com/quicktime.

Though I have QT 7.2 installed.

Any idea ????/

will appreciate your help

Either you have an illegal copy of Leopard, or are breaking your NDA. Either way you should not be posting questions like this here...

Here's an easy and gaurenteed way to get iMovie '08 working under Leopard:

1- Go to an Apple Store sometime late October of this year.
2- Pickup a copy of Leopard and buy it.
3- Take it back home and install it on your Mac.
4- Install iLife '08. iMovie should be working perfectly now :)

Sorry, but please don't ask for help with things you shouldn't have.

If you have it as a developer, you should be asking Apple for help.
