Feeler: PENTAX DIGITAL SLR *IST DS

I have a perfectly working pentax digital SLR *istDS 6mp ... small and compact, TOUGH, sturdy, fast, down to earth practical, pretty much could be called brand new! It's an absolutely wonderful camera, absolutely amazes me. I am upgrading to a new camera here soon though, I was just wondering to see what I can get for offers here on the mac forums or that I should keep my trusty powerful camera in combination with my new one. It comes with the stock 18-55mm autofocus zoom lens and original accessories. Bought it as a kit for $750. thank you!

Does this camera have some sort of anti-shake?

It doesn't, but in my experience with many Digital SLR camera's i've never noticed an extreme difference between those that don't and those that do.

Unless you're a Parkinsons patient or a coffee addict, don't worry about anti-shake features; it doesn't make a difference.

Great camera, it's what I use. If you want to see images produced with it, search my name in the photo section, I used to post picturesin the "picture of the day" thread alot. Or, look on my flickr, www.flickr.com/photos/projektionstudios

It's a good camera.

Seller: the Pentax forums I frequent see them selling for $350ish usually, maybe a little more if it's in perfect shape or if you include other things, if you had a good camera bag (ie: lowepro or some other brand name) and a 2gb SD card and the thing was brand new, in box, then it'd probably go for $400 pretty easily. Yes, I know that it was $750 new, but $350 is about what they are selling for over there. Ebay might give you a little more, just like the prices here are expected to be a little lower than ebay.

And this camera with kit lens is definitely worth $350!! I paid $325 for one without a lense a few months back and have been super super happy with it!
