Hmm... tempting...

Would be nice to have one to bring some sound into my entertainment "center".

How much is it going for those days?

The Hi-Fi uses the same dock connector seen in iPods. Does the iPhone use the dock connector port thing? If so, then I'll assume it'll work just fine? I'm not 100% sure on that. I am including the remote with mine. It's unopened and still sealed. Yes, you can hook it up to a laptop. I used mine with an Airport Express and can include it with the sale of the Hi-Fi if interested. OP, or anyone else interested, PM me with offers. Recent eBay sales have gone between $180-300, but I don't have a set price.

The iPhone will work in the hifi but with limited functionality. The remote only will turn volme up and down (with iPhone), also the iPhone has to be on airplane mode because it apparently was not made for this product. That being said, I love mine and they are deffenatly worth every penny. You just have to use shuffle or make good playlists.

I've never had to use my iPhone in airplane mode, and I am able to skip and back tracks using the remote... sure there's nothing wrong with your remote?

I know the Hi-Fi isn't truely iPhone compatible (as per the message you get when you dock) but it certainly works well enough for me!
